Château ESCOT

keep going

This historic wine estate, with its château and accompanying technical buildings, is located on the left bank of the Gironde in the renowned Bordeaux wine region. Its vineyards produce wines classified as Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. In autumn 2023, we began the reconstruction of the production facilities, creating a new technical base with state-of-the-art technology. In 2024, a complete restoration of the château and its adjoining park commenced, with completion scheduled for the end of 2025.

A Bordeaux wine jewel

An integral part of the project is the sensitive renewal of the vineyards, entrusted to leading oenologists. The investment reflects the owners’ vision to open the estate to the public and to wine tourism, while enhancing the prestige of Lesparre as a destination. Modernization plans have been carefully aligned with the reclassification process of the Cru Bourgeois system, which now incorporates ecological sustainability criteria. In February 2025, Château Escot achieved its elevation to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. Our ambition remains clear: to reach the highest classification, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel, by 2030.
