Information for whistleblowers — Whistleblowing

Introductory information

REDSTONE GROUP, consisting of affiliated commercial companies with its registered office at tř. Kosmonautů 1221/2a, 779 00 Olomouc, (hereinafter referred to as the "company"), operates an internal reporting system and ensures the protection of whistleblowers on the basis of legal obligations imposed on the company as a so-called obligated entity under Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on the protection of whistleblowers, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Whistleblower Protection Act").

The report contains information about possible unlawful conduct that has occurred (or is about to occur) on the part of a person for whom the whistleblower, even indirectly, has performed or is performing work or other similar activities, or on the part of a person with whom the whistleblower has been or is in contact in connection with the performance of work or other similar activities, and which

  • (a) constitutes a criminal offense,
  • b) constitutes an offence for which the law stipulates a fine with an upper limit of a least CZK 100,000,
  • (c) violates the Whistleblower Protection Act; or
  • (d) violates another legal regulation or EU regulation in the area specified in Section 2(1)(d) of the Whistleblower Protection Act.

Who can file a report

Any natural person who performs or has performed work or other similar activities for the company and who submits a report in this work context as:

  • 1. an employee of a company who performs dependent work for the company in a basic employment relationship,
  • 2. a former employee of the company,
  • 3. a person who performs or has performed volunteer work for the company,
  • 4. a person who performs or has performed self-employed work for the company,
  • 5. a person who performs or has performed professional practise or an internship at the company.

In accordance with Section 9(2)(a) of the Whistleblower Protection Act, the company has excluded the possibility of receiving reports from persons referred to in Section 2(3)(d), (e), (f), (g), and (j).
Anonymous reports are not reports within the meaning of the Act and are not subject to the procedures under the Whistleblower Protection Act.

Method of notification

Reports of unlawful conduct can be submitted to the company's internal reporting system in accordance with the requirements of the Whistleblower Protection Act in the following ways:

  • 1. in writing in electronic form using the form https://app.oznam.to/redstone
  • 2. in writing in paper form sent by post to the company's postal address: tř. Kosmonautů 1221/2a, 779 00 Olomouc. The envelope must be marked with the words: "Do not open – for the attention of the relevant person in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act";
  • 3. verbally – by calling +420 731 197 777 on working days from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.;
  • 4. in person by arrangement with the relevant person.

Whistleblowers may contact the Ministry of Justice as an external reporting system (Vyšehradská 16, Prague 2). Before submitting a report, you can request a free and confidential consultation in writing at oznamovatel@msp.justice.cz, by phone at 221 997 840, or directly via the form on the justice.cz website.

Protection under the Whistleblower Protection Act does not apply to a person who has made a report without having reasonable grounds to believe that it is based on true information ("knowingly false report"). This is an offense under Section 23 of the Whistleblower Protection Act.
