The centerpiece of the project will be the square, a public space for hosting various events throughout the year—concerts, public skating, street food events, fresh markets, etc. The open facades of the buildings will invite visitors into a unique covered main street that can be used year-round. The development sensitively connects to the Mlýnský potok stream, creating a lively waterfront on its banks that allows people access to the water. Part of the project will contribute to the expansion of quality gastronomy in Olomouc with stylish restaurants. The project will enrich the range of shops and services in the area with additional attractive units. The cultural and social dimension of the project will be provided by a multifunctional hall, which will offer space for theater, musicals, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, and social events. Leisure activities will be provided by an entertainment zone for all age groups with a range of attractions.
A timeless neighborhood for all generations
The project also includes a residential section and space for offices, businesses, and educational activities, as well as a four-star hotel from the AC Hotels by Marriott chain, which will support local tourism. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2025.
